Guest at Eichhölzli

High up, on the sunny slopes of Biel, is the house from the 1930s that we are visiting today.

The light-flooded attic flat looks out over the entire city. With lots of charm, the stylishly furnished

rooms invite you to linger.

But this is where our work begins. As a guest of Ferien im Baudenkmal, we are allowed to use the

great rooms as a scenery. Many lamps are carried upstairs and put in the right light.

The OyO S finds a spot in the reading area, next to the comfortable sofa. It spreads light onto the book

and at the same time sets the scene for the cleverly used corner with shelf.

With a view over the entire room, it is wonderful to create at the work table. Whether painting or

while working in home office, the LET T offers plenty of light for every situation.

The weather is good, so we spend lunch on the large terrace.Later, the very friendly hostess pays us

a visit. She is accompanied by her dog and cat, who are just as fascinated by the camera lens as it is

by us.

In this manor adjusting the little ZETT becomes an art.

Once the lens is free again, another image of the PINA LED is taken. Together with the sideboard by

USM Haller, it creates a beautiful ensemble.

Exhausted from all the experiences, you can spend the last hours watching the sunset on the large

surrounding terrace. And soon after, the lights will go of.

We say a big thank you to the hostess and Holidays in a Monument for this great day. A truly great

place where you certainly spend good holidays.

Ferienim Baudenkmal rescues historic buildings across Switzerland from decay and gives them a

new life as holiday homes.
